Northwest

The largest of the four quadrants that make up Washington, Northwest is bounded by the National Mall to the south, the state of Maryland to the north, the Potomac River to the west, and North Capitol Street to the east. Although NW includes Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and Adams Morgan, here we have focused on other areas of Northwest, including Penn Quarter and the growing Gallery Place thoroughfare by Metro Center and the Verizon Center.
